Abundant above 1,570 m, where the species was heard far more often than it was seen. Thereȱareȱtwoȱdifferentȱhigh-pitchedȱwhistledȱlongȱsongs,ȱoneȱslowȱandȱtheȱotherȱfast,ȱbothȱ consistingȱofȱaȱrepeatedȱfour-noteȱorȱfive-noteȱseriesȱonȱtwoȱcloselyȱspacedȱpitches.ȱTheȱcallȱ isȱaȱsingleȱshortȱclearȱwhistle.ȱPreviouslyȱcollectedȱinȱtheȱAdelbertsȱbyȱPrattȱ(1982).
