Material examined: 13.8.2021, east of Therma village, N40 30 06.6 E25 36 31.2, maquis, 1♀, from brunches of Quercus coccifera GoogleMaps .
The Psocoptera fauna of Samothraki tend to be similar in numbers of species registered during other case studies - the neighbouring Thassos (13 species) ( Georgiev, 2021), or the very small Amouliani (9 species) ( Georgiev & Ivanova, 2019). Further detailed investigations for longer periods and during different seasons are needed to clarify the real species diversity and the distribution pathways of the barkflies on the North Aegean islands.
