Materials examined. China: 2 males & 5 females, Ningxia, Shahu Lake , viii-5-2011, Guijun Yang & Dazhi Zhang coll. ; 2 males & 1 female, Jilin, Fusong, Lushuihe , vii-18-2013, Libin Ma coll. ; 1 male, Shaanxi, Foping, Daheba , vi-25-2020, Zhixin He & Libin Ma coll. ; 3 males, Ningxia, Wuzhong , v-11-2021, Libin Ma coll. ( SNNU) .

Description. Male. Body size medium for the genus. Head round, frontal rostrum not obvious, slightly wider than antennal scape. Ocelli round, median ocellus smallest, lateral ocelli oval-like. Postclypeus transverse wide, anteclypeus concave medially. Apical joint of maxillary palpi longer than the third, depressed and widened, with rounded apex; apical joint of labial palpi rod-like, longer than remainder sections, depressed and widened. Pronotum transverse wide, bearing bristles; anterior and posterior margin straight, posterior margin wider than the anterior, middle of both lateral edges slightly concave. Tegmen bearing an oblique vein and three chord veins, the third one and diagonal vein converge proximally. Dividing vein transverse and separating mirror as front and hind cells. Apical region degraded, lateral region bearing four Sc branches. Fore tibia only possessing external tympanum, elongate oval-like. Hind tibia bearing four dorsal spurs on two sides respectively, of the inside, first spur stubby and far away from others, and the basal of fourth one expanded; apical spurs three inside and outside respectively.

Genitalia. Middle portion of epiphallus extremely narrowed, two sides widened; lateral lobe tapering, apex acute and slightly curved inward. Ectoparamere similar to lateral lobe but rather short.

Female. Similar to male but veins different. Primary veins almost paralleled. Ovipositor blade shape.

Coloration (intraspecific variation). Dark brown individuals: apical colored dark, remainder brown. Pronotum dark brown. Tegmen dark brown. Legs dark brown. Yellowish brown individuals: apical joint of maxillary dark, remainder yellowish brown. Pronotal disc yellowish brown with lateral lobe dark brown. Tegmen light brown. Legs yellowish brown.

Measurements (mm). Male (n=2). BL 7.02±0.41, HW 1.39±0.23, PL 1.15±0.19, TL 3.98±0.48, HFL 4.61±0.54. Female. BL 7.20, HW 1.39 PL 1.25, TL 2.68, HFL 4.59, OL 2.84.
