Epitype:— MADAGASCAR. Southwestern Madagascar , “rocailles calcaires, station un peu ombragée près d’Itampolo, en fleurs oct. 1962 ” [English: “limestone rocks, place with some shade near Itampolo, in flower October 1962 ”], J. Bosser 16594 (epitype P P00444026 [http://coldb.mnhn.fr/catalognumber/mnhn/p/p00444026]), here designated as epitype .
