Neoperla yentu Cao & Bae. 2007 . In Cao, Ham & Bae, 2007. Zootaxa 1453: 45. Type locality: Vietnam (Quang Ninh Province, Yentu); Stark & Sivec. 2008. Illiesia 4: 42.

Material examined. 1 male ( HIST), China, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Fangchenggang City , Shangsi County, Shiwandashan National Forest Park , Yunwu Hotel balcony above Pearl River , N 21°54.316', E 107°54.203', 295 m, 2015.III.26–29, light trap, J. Kontschán, J.N. Li, S. Li, W.H. Li, D. Murányi, G.Q. Wang GoogleMaps .

Distribution. Vietnam (Quang Ninh Province); China (Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region).

Remarks. This species was originally described from Vietnam by Cao et al. (2007) and the aedeagal sac, which was not everted and described in the original description, but subsequently described by Stark & Sivec (2008). The head pattern of the male, the dorsal terminalia, and the strongly sclerotized aedeagal tube agree well with figures provided by Cao et al. (2007) and Stark & Sivec (2008). The aedeagal sac is membranous with the apical half armed with minute spines. Additionally, our single male specimen has a patch of sensilla basiconica on tergum 6 posteromedially.
