Distribution. This species was previously recorded from USA (Texas), Mexico, Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Colombia and Venezuela ( Jirón et al. 1988, Norrbom et al. 1999, Mengual et al. 2017). The basis for the previous record from Colombia ( Martínez-Alava & Serna 2004) was not indicated, but the examined specimen confirms this species’ occurrence in Colombia.
