Type locality. India: Darjeeling.

Distribution. India (West Bengal), Nepal (Seti/Bajhang).

Literature. Pic (1914a): original description; Wittmer (1944): catalogue; Löbl & Smetana (2010): catalogue; Kundrata (2012a): redescription, diagnosis, key.

Remarks. S. atriventris is recorded from Nepal for the first time.

Material studied. 1 male, NEPAL, Seti/Bajhang way from Chainpur (N29°33'04'' E81°11'47'') to Tamail (N29°30'15'' E81°08'24''), 1200– 1100 m, 30.VI.2009, leg. A. Weigel, ♯39 ( NKME).
