Parish records (n = 49): Cameron, Catahoula, Claiborne, East Baton Rouge, Iberville, Jefferson, Natchitoches, Rapides, Webster, and West Feliciana Parishes (LSAM, TAMU).
Potential larval hosts in Louisiana: Desmodium ciliare (Muhl. ex Willd.) DC. , Desmodium obtusum (Muhl. ex Willd.) DC. , Desmodium viridiflorum (L.) DC., Lespedeza capitata Michx. , and Lespedeza virginica (L.) Britton. Adults reported also on Desmodium canescens (L.) DC., Desmodium cuspidatum (Muhl. ex Willd.) DC. ex Loud. , Desmodium glutinosum (Muhl. ex Willd.) Wood , Desmodium paniculatum (L.) DC., Desmodium perplexum Schub. , Lespedeza bicolor Turcz. , and Lespedeza hirta (L.) Hornem.
Collection date range: April–11 October, most collected during May (n = 14) and July (n = 15).
Comments: Collected at light, by hand, ‘on Desmodium ’, and by sweeping.
