Parish records (n = 52): Bossier, East Baton Rouge, Jefferson, Pointe Coupee, St. Landry, St. Tammany, and Tensas Parishes (LSAM, MEM, USNM).
Potential larval hosts in Louisiana: Celtis laevigata , Celtis tenuifolia , Cornus florida , and Gleditsia triacanthos . Adults reported also on Crataegus sp. probably viridis , Diospyros virginiana , Juglans nigra , and Tilia sp.
Collection date range: 6 April–8 August. Specimens evenly distributed between dates.
Comments: Collected at light, by hand, and using flight intercept and sticky (‘on cypress’) traps; also as C. fumipennis prey.
