Type locality. Morocco: “Marokko, Ouarzazate 7.IV.1980, K. Warncke, ♂ Type (Holotypus) Coll. m.” .
Holotype, ♂: Marokko – 30 km W Ouarzazate 7.IV.1980 K. Warncke // ♂ Type Cleptes Ltr. laevifacies Lins. det. Linsenmaier 1997 // 486 // NML _ENT GBIF _ Chr 0000185 (ex type-collection).
Remarks. Cleptes laevifacies Linsenmaier was not included in Móczár’s revisions; it belongs to the nitidulus species group (subgenus Leiocleptes according the division proposed by Móczár).
