Type locality: Yerbabuena Beach , Oaxaca, México (15°44’55.4’’N, 96°7’48.2’’W) .

Type material. Seven specimens. Holotype: as sagittal sections: UMAR PLAT-028 (sagittal sections of reproductive structures in five slides; Yerbabuena Beach, Oaxaca, southern Mexican Pacific; under rocks, 3 m, Oct 24, 2013, Coll. MRS) . Paratypes: five as whole mounts; UMAR PLAT-029 - A, 2 specs. ( Yerbabuena Beach , same as holotype); UMAR PLAT-030 , 1 spec. (Cacaluta, Bay, under rocks, 10 m, Feb 26, 2013, Coll. MRS); UMAR PLAT- 031 - B, 2 specs. (Panteón Beach, under rocks, 2 m, Dec 06, 2013, Coll. ARS). One specimen in histology sections, UMAR PLAT-031 C-G, 1 spec. in histological section (sagittal sections of reproductive structures in eight slides, the remaining portion is mounted on Canadian balsam in one slide; Panteón Beach , same as UMAR PLAT-031 ) .
