Hexarhopalus (Hexarhopalus) mangshanicus Ren & Xu, 2011 . Type locality: China, Hunan, Mangshan .

Material examined (23 spec., 19 ♂♂, 4 ♀♀). Holotype: 1 ♂, CHINA: Hunan: labeles: ‘ Mangshan , 800 m, Sep-tember 1960, collector unknown’ ( MHBU) . Other material examined: 18 ♂♂, 4 ♀♀, CHINA: Guangdong: labeled: ‘ Guangdong, Qingyuan City (Ȉẑḿ), Yangshan County (ṞƜss), Guangdongdiyifeng (ḞṪë̃ḍ), 112°59’15.76” E, 24°55’22.68” N, H: 1600m, 2019.VI.4–6, Qiu Jian-Yue leg’ (1 ♂, 1 ♀, QUST; 17 ♂♂, 3 ♀♀, MYNU) .

Remarks: Hexarhopalus (H.) mangshanicus was originally described from Hunan Province, China, and is herein newly recorded from Guangdong Province, China.
