The UMRM has a specimen from Armero. The species has been reported previously from Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador and Costa Rica ( Metcalf 1963a; Duffels and van der Laan 1985; Sanborn 2001, 2006b).

Material examined. “ Armero – Colombia, 8-V-1965, R. Cancelado” (one female, UMRM) .
