Trigonidium cicindeloides Rambur, 1839: 39 (original description).

Type locality. Near Malaga , Spain .

This species is very widespread in tropical and subtropical areas of the Old World, including South Western Indian Ocean islands and is recorded for the first time in Rodrigues.

Specimen examined (Rodrigues only). 1♀, Rodrigues, Port Mathurin, Solitude , bord réservoir, 21.IV.2009, BIOTAS2009011 , S. Hugel leg., coll. S.H .
