Caenocryptoides Uchida, 1936: 4 View in CoL . Type species: Ischnojoppa tarsalis Matsumura, 1912 . Original designation.

Three species, Ca. convergens Momoi, 1966 View in CoL , Ca. nigrifacies Jonathan, 1999 View in CoL and Ca. tarsalis (Matsumura, 1912) , have been recorded from Japan. I herein describe a male of Ca. convergens View in CoL for the first time.
