Holotype: ♂, Guinea, Macenta Prefecture , Ziama Forest, 550 m, XI.2016, leg. G. Petranyi, V. Kravchenko et al., GS 0885 ( CGM / USTTB).

Description. Male ( Fig. 3 View Figures 1–4 ). Flagellum covered with speckled dark brown and straw scales. Head, thorax, and abdomen brown (color cannot be defined exactly due to grease). Forewing. Forewing length: 16.5 mm. Narrow, somewhat triangle with rounded apex and slightly wavy outer margin. Ground color orangish brown; veins brown. Costal area brown, gets lighter towards apex. External field brown. Antemedial line even brown, discal dot brown, postmedial line split into short brown strokes between veins. Fringe orangish brown. Hindwing. Somewhat triangle with oblong anal angle and concave outer margin. Medial area orangish brown, anal and marginal areas brown. Vague brown postmedial line and discal dot pronounced. Genitalia ( Fig. 8 View Figures 5–9 ). Tegumen a narrow band, dorsolaterally bears a pair of socii. Socii somewhat triangle with pointed apex. Cucullus long, narrow, wavy, apically pointed. Sacculus long, narrow, c-shaped, apically pointed, about the same length with cucullus. Vinculum a ventromedially bears saccus. Saccus bilobed, each lobe somewhat triangle. Juxta wide, stem-like, basally fused with aedeagus. Aedeagus c-shaped with wide apical opening. Vesica cone-like. Eight sternite somewhat oval, distal margin dentated with medial concavity, basolaterally has pair of elongated c-shaped apodemes. Female unknown.

Distribution. Western Guinean lowland forests lowland forests in Guinea.

Etymology. The species is named in honor of Maurice Wirtz (Antwerp, Belgium).
