Type locality. Mianning County, Sichuan Prov., China. ( NWAFU).
Distribution. China (Sichuan, Yunnan).
Remarks. The species E. (M.) quadrifida Qin & Zhang (2008) is a junior homonym of E. quadrifida Southern, 1982 , and this new name is proposed as a replacement for Qin & Zhang’s (2008) name.
Etymology. The replacement name is an adjective derived from the Latin words “ quad ” meaning four and “ alatus ” meaning wing, referring to the four processes on the aedeagal shaft.
