Material examined. 5, 4 and 6 larvae, Hong Kong, Po Shan road, 23 February 1976, Trema orientalis (D. S. Hill) (BMNH) . Slide mounted .

Comments. Species of the psylloptera type. Similar to P. boehmeriae sp. n. diVering in the larger body dimensions and details of the forewing venation.
