Description of Arsenicicoccus bolidensis LPB View in CoL 0110

Cells are Gram-staining-positive, non-flagellated and coccus shaped. Colonies are circular and light yellow-colored after 1 day on MA at 26° C. Positive for esculin hydrolysis and nitrate reduction in API 20NE, but negative for arginine dihydrolase, β -galactosidase, gelatinase, glucose fermentation, indole production and urease. Does not utilize N -acetyl-glucosamine, adipic acid, L-arabinose, capric acid, D-glucose, malic acid, D-maltose, D-mannitol, D-mannose, phenylacetic acid, potassium gluconate and trisodium citrate. Strain LPB0110 About LPB (= NIBRBAC000497985) has been isolated from a sea water sample, Busan, Korea.
