Distribution and ecology ( Fig. 4c View FIGURE 4 ). In China, the species is known from the Nei Mongol Autonomous Region, Beijing, Henan, Qinghai and Shandong provinces ( Yang & Li 2018). It is also known from Japan, Korea and the Russian Far East ( Shimizu 1997, Zwick 2010, Zhiltzova 2003). This widespread species is new for Qinghai Province. It was collected by our hemipterologist colleague, Dr. Bin Zhang, from forest streams while searching for leafhoppers ( Cicadellidae ).
