Distribution: The species has a ORR_PAL_SAR distribution range. The range extends from southern and eastern Europe (AL, BA, BG, GR, HR, HU, MD, MK, RO, RU, TR, UA) eastward to the southern Caucasus (AM, AZ, GE) and Central Asia (KG, KZ, TJ, TM, UZ) and southward to southern Asia (AF, IN, NP, PK) and southwestern Asia (IQ, IR, SA ( Abdel-Dayem et al. 2017)).

Life forms and Remarks. ZS(C)SL species. This species has been recently reported from low altitudes (560 m) of Rawdhat Khorim within Riyadh Province ( Abdel-Dayem et al. 2017). This species of ground beetle is a new record for Asir Province and was collected at the bottom of GRNR (1467 m.a.s.l.) from an Acacia community.
