Material examined. WMR: 1150 m: 04.IV.2017, LT, 1 ♀.
Distribution: The species is distributed in the AFR_SAR, occurring in North, West and East Africa (DJ, EG, ER, ET, MR, NE, SO, SD), eastward to South and Southwest Asia (AF, IL, IR, OM, PK, SA, SY, YE), and extending to Southern Europe (GR).
Life forms and Remarks. ZPLD species. Britton (1948) reported this species as G. ornata var. rufolimbata from Asir and Makkah provinces. It is also recorded by Mateu (1986) from Jizan and Makkah provinces. The adult was collected from habitats dominated by Acacia trees.
