Material examined. Xinjiang, Altay, Kalamaili— 1 ♀: 3.VII.2015, MZ leg.; 4 ♀♀: 4.VII.2015, MZ leg.
Distribution. China (Xinjiang). Southwest Asia, Central Asia.
Remarks. Identification was based on Verves (1982). We identified this species only from females. A 596 bp fragment of COI obtained from a Kalamaili specimen showed a 97% similarity with M. chrysochlamys using the BLAST® service of GenBank ( Altschul et al. 1990; https://blast.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/Blast.cgi).
