Material examined. St 3, 02/11/2009, 19h–21h, Trévani fringing reef at night, 12°43'43.19"S, 45°11'43.97"E, coll. KUW fieldwork, snorkelling and scuba diving, 1–8 m, coral grounds at night, 1 male, 1 ovigerous female (LC 3.4 mm, LT 13.6 mm), MNHN-Na 16040; St 12, 06/11/2009, 10h–12h30, La Prévoyante reef, 12°41'34.70"S, 45° 9'59.99"E, coll. KUW fieldwork, scuba diving 6–11 m, sediment suction pump, Acropora coral grounds, 1 male (LC 3.3 mm, LT 25 mm), MNHN-Na 16062, 1 ovigerous female (LC 5.2 mm, LT 32 mm), MNHN-Na 15993.
Colouration (fig. 5). The colouration of the specimen agrees well with Debelius (2001), with body yellowish, tips of second pereiopods and tailfan dark blue, with dark spots.
Distribution. Type locality Tonga Islands. Widespread in Indo-Pacific.
Remarks. The specimens agree well with the previous descriptions and illustrations. The species was not previously recorded with certainty from Mayotte, although it has been recorded from close localities such as Madagascar.
