Complementary description

(Figs 60-65 View Figures 60–65 ). A mouldy male of Paracacoxenus argyreator (Frey) from Czech Republic received from Jan Máca together with the three specimen misidentified by him as P. kaszabi (cited above) shows, beside the silvery looking mesonotum (Figs 60-62 View Figures 60–65 , 64 View Figures 60–65 ), a remarkable preapical seta on the tibia of middle leg ( McAlpine 1968: 526) which is unique in known Drosophilidae species (Figs 60 View Figures 60–65 , 61 View Figures 60–65 , 65 View Figures 60–65 ). The female lacks both these characters.
