Site of infection: eye, kidneys, liver, mesentery, mouth, muscle, peritoneum, skin, spleen, stomach. Recruitment: ingestion. Distribution: USA: Louisiana ( Modzelewski & Culley 1974); Nevada ( Babero & Golling 1974);
Pennsylvania (USNPC); undetermined ( Walton 1935). Specimens in collections: USNPC: 80887 ( paratype). Remarks: Panesar & Beaver (1979) described the third larval stage of this parasite.
