Distribution: USA: Tennessee (USNPC).

Specimens in collections: USNPC: 42061. Remarks: Baker (1977) considered Oswaldocruzia leydi Travassos, 1917 as a nomen nudum; Ben Slimane & Durette-Desset (1997) re-established its validity, noted that the first description of this species was provided by Steiner (1924), becoming Stainer the author of the name.
