03EC8E7E8C04DE04FF2AFF4EC005FF45.taxon	description	Notes: — According to Jarvis (2007: 349), the original material is deposited in LINN (735.5!). However, Linnaeus’ description and the citation of the previous polynomials: “ Sideritis hirsuta procumbens ” from Bauhin’s Pinax (Bauhin 1671: 233) and “ Sideritis heraclea 3 Clus. hist. 2. p. 40. ” from Clusius (1601: 40) refer to the illustration of some annual Sideritis in Clusius (1601: 40) (“ Sideritis iii “), but not S. recta as “ i Sideritis vulgaris ” on page 39. The mentioned specimen in LINN resembles S. recta, but the flowers are mostly undeveloped, and the collector, date and locality are not given. Furthermore, at the bottom of the sheet Linnaeus (1759: 1097) is cited as the source. Linnaeus then published another taxon under the same name (Betonica hirta), which probably belongs to the genus Betonica. According to Jarvis (2007: 349), the application of this illegitimate homonym is uncertain. We are of the opinion that both names (Linnaeus 1756, 1759) should be rejected as dubious.	en	Ranimirović, Milana, Đurović, Sanja Z., Tomović, Gordana, Niketić, Marjan (2025): Nomenclatural notes and typification of the names related to Stachys recta group (Lamiaceae).
