03FB65461A1E7A18FF1ADCF8CDB47685.taxon	etymology	Etymology. The specific epithet works as a noun in apposition referring to the small size of the specimens of this species. In Quechua Aymara (very commonly spoken in Santiago del Estero), ch’ilikuti means “ little, small ”.	en	Ríos-Tamayo, Duniesky, Goloboff, Pablo A. (2025): A new trapdoor spider of the genus Actinopus (Araneae: Mygalomorphae: Actinopodidae) from Argentina. 03FB65461A1E7A18FF1ADCF8CDB47685.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis. Members of Actinopus chilikuti sp. nov. are small spiders. Males can be distinguished from all other species with Type I morphology in Argentina by having a copulatory bulb with a more curved embolus (Figs 2 C – F, 4 C), with keels well developed (similar to A. reycali) and PA developed (smaller in A. reycali, and A. clavero but bigger in A. septemtrionalis, Fig 4). Females can be differentiated from A. reycali and A. septemtrionalis by the shorter and more slender spermathecae (Fig 3 D, similar to A. clavero). It is distinguished from A. clavero by a larger number of retrolateral thorns on tibia II (30 vs 20, Fig 3 G) and fewer on tibia I (0 vs 5).	en	Ríos-Tamayo, Duniesky, Goloboff, Pablo A. It is known, females of the genus prefer to build their burrows in sloping surfaces (Ríos-Tamayo & Goloboff, 2018). In this trip many females of the species mentioned, were observed living sympatrically in the flat areas around and inside of the Seccional La Portada as well as in other areas of the National Park.	en	Ríos-Tamayo, Duniesky, Goloboff, Pablo A.
