Distribution. India: Nagaland. Elsewhere: Myanmar. The holotype of Oxytauchira aurora Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1893 was redescribed in detail including both external morphology and genitalia by Ingrisch (1989). Therefore, redescription is not necessary for this species. The identity of this species was confirmed not only by external morphological characteristics like the comparative length of tegmen, the shape of the prosternal process and male cercus but also by the shape of the epiphallus (Figure 1 G; Ingrisch, 1989: Fig. 17). Oxytauchira aurora Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1893 differs from O. aspinosa Ingrisch, 1989, O. bilobata Ingrisch, 1989, O. brachyptera Zheng, 1981, O. elegans Willemse, 1965, O. gracilis (Willemse, 1931), O. oxyelegans Otte,	en	Kumar, Hirdesh, Sote, Neikielie-ü Noemi, Chand, D.
