03A987A4FFF4FFD6FF5B7AAC1F9AFED3.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis. Relatively small, slender Evacanthini. Overall coloration usually pale yellow or orange in live and preserved specimens, head usually pale with single black medial spot on crown and black spot on face below each antenna (rarely uniformly black or pale yellow); pronotum and forewing with varying amounts of darker pigment. Head with crown acutely produced in dorsal view, slightly convex, carinae not strongly elevated. Male pygofer with ventral appendage present and usually elongate.	en	Nguyen, T. T. 03A987A4FFF7FFD7FF5B7AAB1864FBBB.taxon	description	(Figs 1 – 2) Description. Length of male 5.5 mm. Dorsal coloration (Figs 1 A, B) orange tinged with yellow; head with large median anterior preapical black spot on crown and smaller black spots on frontoclypeus, one below each antenna; posterolateral corners of pronotum and corium of forewing between vein R and claval suture with dark brown pigment. Head with crown angulately produced, anterior margin forming nearly right angle in dorsal view, median length subequal that of pronotum. Front femur AM 1 near midheight, IC with 9 fine setae, AV with 11 large setae, PV with 9 short setae, stout distal seta absent; tibia with numerous short setae in rows PD, AD and PV, AV with numerous long macrosetae, distinct accessory row of 5 setae present between AD and AV. Hind tibia formula PD: AD: AV 26: 13: 14; apex of femur macrosetae formula 2 + 1 + 1; tarsomere I pecten with 3 tapered setae. Male pygofer (Figs 1 C, D) ~ 2.5 x longer than tall, produced posterodorsally with apex round, surface with few short setae scattered over distal half; ventral appendage (Fig. 1 F) arising near midlength and extended posterodorsad for short distance along ventral of lobe, acuminate, not extended to lobe apex. Segment X long, tubular, well sclerotized and darkly pigmented. Subgenital plate (Fig. 1 E) slightly longer than pygofer, lateral margin moderately expanded near midlength then gradually tapered to rounded apex, with submedial ventral row of 3 – 4 macrosetae in basal half, distal half with longitudinal band of shorter stout setae medially, apex with marginal band of stout setae of varying lengths. Style preapical lobe (Fig. 1 G) poorly developed and obtusely angulate, apophysis (Fig. H) curved slightly laterad, apex slightly expanded and truncate with acute medial and lateral angles. Connective (Fig. 1 G) Y-shaped, more than twice as long as maximum width, stem much longer than anterior arms. Aedeagus (Fig. 1 G) with preatrium well developed but short, wider than shaft in ventral view with pair of acutely angulate anterolateral flanges in ventral view; dorsal apodeme (Fig. 1 G) well sclerotized and movably articulated to atrium, produced dorsolaterad in dorsal view; shaft (Figs 1 G, H) short and blunt in lateral view, slightly constricted preapically, with two pairs of short spines (larger lateral and smaller medial) at apex, extended posterolaterad, pair of elongate arcuate ventral processes extended well beyond pygofer apex and divergent near midlength in ventral view; gonopore at junction of basal process and shaft of aedeagus in dorsal view. Female closely resembling male overall but slightly larger. Length 6.0 – 6.5 mm. Ovipositor (Fig. 2 A) protruding only slightly beyond pygofer. Sternite VII (Fig. 2 B) with posterior margin weakly tetralobed, with median brown macula. First valvula (Figs 2 C, D) moderately slender, gradually broadened through most of length, tapered to sharp point distally, dorsal sculpture strigate, continuous with ventral sculpture near apex. Second valvula (Figs 2 E, F) gradually broadened from base to median dorsal cleft, distal toothed blades gradually broadened with dorsal margin arcuate then gradually tapered toward apex; with ~ 33 close-set conical dorsal teeth.	en	Nguyen, T.
