117E87B7DD35FF99FF719329FE2EFB38.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis. The male genitalia of Flintiella angrisanoae sp. nov. are similar to those of F. panamensis Harris, Flint & Holzenthal 2002 b, F. tamaulipasa Harris, Flint & Holzenthal 2002 b, and F. yanamona Harris, Flint & Holzenthal 2002 b, mainly due to the ventral posteromesal U – shaped notch in segment IX and the deeply incised phallic apex. However, the new species can be distinguished from those by sternite VII lacking an apicomesal process (Figs 2 D, 2 E), the inferior appendages being longer and slightly sinuous (Fig. 2 D), the subgenital plate being complex, divided into dorsal and ventral processes (Figs 2 D, 2 E), and the apex of the phallus being divided into two asymmetrical lobes, curved to the left in dorsal and ventral views, with an ejaculatory duct protruding subapically (Figs 2 F, 2 G).	en	Cavalcante-Silva, Amanda, Santos, Allan Paulo Moreira, Calor, Adolfo Ricardo (2025): Three new species of Stactobiinae (Trichoptera: Hydroptilidae), new distributional records, and an updated checklist for Brazil. 117E87B7DD30FF9BFF719065FD93F9F4.taxon	discussion	Remarks. Flintiella quiteriae sp. nov. shares the following characters of male genitalia with F. andreae Angrisano 1995 and F. heredia Harris, Flint & Holzenthal 2002 b: mesal U – shaped notch posteroventrally in the segment IX, inferior appendages long and rectangular, and subgenital plate divided into two contiguous arms. However, the new species can be distinguished from F. heredia by sternite VII of the new species being without an apicomesal process (Figs 3 E, 3 F) and from F. andreae and F. heredia by the inferior appendages each having a short subapical projection on the ventromesal margin (Fig. 3 E) and having the phallus apex deeply incised (Fig. 3 H). The new species shares the deeply incised phallus apex with F. carajas Santos, Jardim & Nessimian 2011, F. serrana Gama Neto, Ribeiro, & Passos 2020, F. panamensis, F. tamaulipasa, and F. yanamona. Flintiella quiteriae sp. nov. differs from F. carajas, F. panamensis, and F. yanamona by sternum VII lacking an apicomesal process (Figs 3 E, 3 F). It can be easily distinguished from F. serrana by its mesal posteroventral U – shaped notch of segment IX (Fig. 3 E), by its long inferior appendages each with a short subapical projection on the ventromesal margin (Fig. 3 E), and by the subgenital plate divided into two continuous arms in ventral and lateral views (Figs 3 E, 3 F). This new species also differs from F. serrana and F. tamaulipasa by the phallus having its acute apex curved upward in lateral view (Fig. 3 H), curved to the left, with its right lobe folded beneath the left in dorsal view (Fig. 3 G), and the ejaculatory duct protruding beneath those lobes in lateral view (Fig. 3 H).	en	Cavalcante-Silva, Amanda, Santos, Allan Paulo Moreira, Calor, Adolfo Ricardo (2025): Three new species of Stactobiinae (Trichoptera: Hydroptilidae), new distributional records, and an updated checklist for Brazil. 117E87B7DD32FF95FF719329FE26FB5C.taxon	discussion	Remarks. The male genitalia of O. costae sp. nov. are morphologically similar to those of O. calcariga, especially in the large lobes on the posterolateral margins of segment IX (Fig. 4 E) and in the phallus divided into two symmetrical arms, strongly recurved apically, with a mesal ejaculatory duct (Fig. 4 G). Orinocotrichia costae sp. nov. differs from O. calcariga by the obliquely truncate processes of segment IX (Fig. 4 D) and by the subgenital plate conspicuous and divided mesally (Fig. 4 E), which in O. calcariga is reduced and not divided. The structure of the conspicuous and divided subgenital plate of O. costae sp. nov. is similar to that of O. angelus. The new species can be distinguished from this species by the shape of the apicolateral processes of segment IX, in dorsal view (Fig. 4 D), by the inferior appendages each with an acute ventromesal membranous projection in ventral view (Fig. 4 E), and by the phallus apex, with strongly recurved lateral arms (Fig. 4 G).	en	Cavalcante-Silva, Amanda, Santos, Allan Paulo Moreira, Calor, Adolfo Ricardo (2025): Three new species of Stactobiinae (Trichoptera: Hydroptilidae), new distributional records, and an updated checklist for Brazil. 117E87B7DD3CFF94FF7193E9FD37F826.taxon	discussion	Taxonomic comments. Flintiella triaena was described based on a unique specimen. The original description indicated for the genitalia that the inferior appendages were “ spread posterolaterad, possibly as a result of KOH treatment ” (Gama Neto et al. 2020). The authors also mentioned the unusual “ trident-like ” subgenital plate, allowing the identification of the species. However, based on our reexamination of the holotype and comparison with two additional specimens from the state of Mato Grosso, we confirm that the inferior appendages and the arms of the subgenital plate of the holotype appear to have been separated during the clearing process. In this way, Flintiella triaena has the typical male genitalia as other species in this genus with the subgenital plate divided into three contiguous arms as long as the inferior appendages (Figs 5 D, 5 E). Based on male genitalia (Figs 5 C – 5 G and Gama Neto et al. 2020, figs 3 A – 3 E), F. triaena resembles F. carajas, particularly in the shape of the inferior appendages and the subgenital plate. However, F. triaena can be easily distinguished by: (1) sternite VII without an apicomesal process (Figs 5 D, 5 E and Gama Neto et al. 2020, fig. 3 A); (2) segment IX has a mesal U – shaped notch posteroventrally in ventral view (Fig. 5 D and Gama Neto et al. 2020, fig. 3 B, but broader in the latter illustration); (3) each inferior appendage has a short subapical projection in the ventromesal margin (Fig. 5 D and Gama Neto et al. 2020, fig. 3 B); (4) the subgenital plate is divided into three contiguous arms as long as inferior appendages (Fig. 5 D and Gama Neto et al. 2020, fig. 3 B, but divergent in the latter illustration, apparently as a result of the clearing process); and (5) the phallus is deeply divided distally, with a mesoventral process and the ejaculatory duct protruding from its apex (Figs 5 F, 5 G and Gama Neto et al. 2020, figs 3 D, 3 E). Here, we also describe and provide the first illustration of the wing venation of the male of F. triaena. Fore- and hind wings with main veins present. Forewings, in alcohol, uniformly brown, with light brown setae; each with Sc incomplete, apical forks 1, 2, and 3 present (Fig. 5 A). Hind wings narrow; Sc incomplete; apical forks 1 and 2 present (Fig. 5 B); edges with long setal fringes.	en	Cavalcante-Silva, Amanda, Santos, Allan Paulo Moreira, Calor, Adolfo Ricardo (2025): Three new species of Stactobiinae (Trichoptera: Hydroptilidae), new distributional records, and an updated checklist for Brazil.
