Holotype, female, body length 5.7 mm, fore wing length 4.8 mm (Fig. 1).</p><p>Head. Antenna incomplete, with 38 flagellomeres remaining; middle flagellomeres 2.7 × longer than wide; first flagellomere 1.2 × second; width of face to length of face and clypeus combined; malar space 0.8 × as long as basal mandible width; mandible width 0.7 × as wide as hypoclypeal depression; malar suture present; distance between tentorial pits 2.75 × distance between pits and eyes; in dorsal view, head 1.6 × as wide as long medially; and height of eye 4.0 × as long as temple; in lateral view, eye 1.5 × as long as wide; width of eye × as long as temple; ocelli large, POL: OD: OOL = 3: 6: 4; distance between front and hind ocelli 0.75 × as long as OOL (Fig. 2A); face rugose-punctate, with few transverse rugosities near antennal sockets (Fig. 2B); frons narrow, transversely rugose anteriorly; vertex and temple coriaceous (Fig. 2A).</p><p>Mesosoma. Length of mesosoma 1.4 × as long as high; pronotal side sparsely crenulate; precoxal sulcus distinct, sparsely crenulate; mesopleuron coarsely rugose anteriorly and medially, sparsely punctate dorsally, nearly coriaceous ventrally (Fig. 2E); metapleuron punctate; mesoscutum finely rugose-punctate; notauli narrow, punctate, merging into rather wide depressed area posteriorly (Fig. 2D); scutellar sulcus shallow, with one median carina, 0.5 × as long as scutellum; scutellum nearly smooth; propodeum with short basal carina, rugose-punctate lateroanteriorly, irregularly rugose medio-posteriorly.</p><p>Wings. Fore wing: pterostigma 3.7 × as long as wide; r: 2-SR: 3-SR: SR1 = 7: 13: 23: 40; vein r emitted from middle of pterostigma; vein cu-a oblique and straight (Fig. 2H); vein 1-CU1 distinctly shorter than cu-a; 1-CU1: cu-a: 2-CU1: 3-CU1 = 5: 7: 26: 5; second submarginal cell of fore wing parallel-sided, basal length of second submarginal cell 2.75 × its width medially (Fig. 2H). Hind wing: vein M+CU: 1-M: 1r-m: 2-SC+R = 20: 20: 8: 4.</p><p>Legs. Hind femur: tibia: basitarsus = 28: 34: 16; length of hind femur, tibia and basitarsus 5.6, 8.5, and 8.0 × their maximum width, respectively; hind basitarsus: tibia: second–fifth tarsal tarsomeres combined = 16: 34: 22; inner hind tibial spur 0.25 × as long as hind basitarsus.</p><p>Metasoma. First tergite as long as its apical width (Fig. 2G); second tergite 2.1 × longer than third medially; ovipositor sheath 0.4 × as long as hind basitarsus; first metasomal tergite sparsely longitudinal rugose; second–third tergites with dense longitudinal rugosities (Fig. 2G); fourth–sixth tergites with longitudinal rugosities; hypopygium straight ventrally in lateral view (Fig. 2F).</p><p>Colour. Head yellow, except frons anteriorly and stemmaticum yellowish brown; antenna,palpi and mandible, mesonotum (Fig. 2D) and propleuron yellow; mesopleuron and metapleuron light brown; metanotum and propodeum entirely brown; fore and middle legs yellow; hind leg yellow, except apical half of femur brownish yellow; fore wing veins yellow, but veins 1-M, cu-a, 1-CU1, 2-CU1 and pterostigma brownish yellow, wing membrane hyaline (Fig. 2H); first metasomal tergite entirely yellow; second–third tergites largely brown, but narrowly yellow laterally; fourth–sixth tergites brown medially and largely yellow laterally (Fig. 2G); ovipositor sheath and ovipositor yellow.</p><p>Male. Fore wing: pterostigma 3.7 × as long as wide; r: 2-SR: 3-SR: SR1=7: 15: 23: 37; vein r emitted behind middle of pterostigma (Fig. 4I); vein 1-CU1 as long as vein cu-a; vein cu-a oblique, slightly curved; 1-CU1: cu-a: 2-CU1: 3-CU1= 5: 5: 20: 4 (Fig. 4I); second submarginal cell of fore wing parallel-sided, basal length of second submarginal 3.1 × its width medially (Fig. 4I). Hind wing: vein M+CU: 1-M: 1r-m: 2-SC+R = 18: 18: 9: 3:10 (Fig. 4J).</p><p>Legs. Hind femur: tibia: basitarsus = 27: 34: 16; length of hind femur, tibia and basitarsus 5.4, 11.3, and 8.0 × as long as their maximum width, respectively; hind basitarsus: tibia: second˗fifth tarsal tarsomeres combined = 16: 34: 22; inner hind tibial spur 0.25 × as long as hind basitarsus.</p><p>Metasoma. First tergite 1.2 × as long as its apical width (Fig. 4H); second tergite 1.7 × longer than third tergite medially; ovipositor sheath 0.4 × as long as hind basitarsus; first–second metasomal tergites with prominent median carinae, largely striate-rugose; second tergite striate-rugose in lesser degree than first tergite; fourth–sixth tergites sparsely striate-rugose (Fig. 4G).</p><p>Colour. Fore wing: pterostigma 3.6 × as long as wide; r: 2-SR: 3-SR: SR1=7: 13: 22: 38; vein r emitted from middle of pterostigma; vein cu-a oblique, slightly curved (Fig. 5H); vein 1-CU1 0.5 × cu-a; 1-CU1: cu-a: 2-CU1: 3-CU1 = 3: 6: 13: 4; second submarginal cell of fore wing nearly parallel-sided, slightly narrowed at apex, length of second submarginal cell 2.9 × its width medially (Fig. 5H). Hind wing: vein M+CU: 1-M: 1r-m: 2-SC+R = 22: 22: 10: 4 (Fig. 5I).</p><p>Legs. Hind femur: tibia: basitarsus = 39: 47: 23; length of hind femur, tibia and basitarsus 4.9, 9.4, and 7.7 × as long as their maximum width, respectively; hind basitarsus: tibia: second–fifth tarsomeres combined = 23: 47: 33; inner hind tibial spur 0.2 × as long as hind basitarsus.</p><p>Metasoma. First tergite 1.25 × as long as its apical width (Fig. 5E); medially second tergite 1.8 × longer than third tergite; ovipositor sheath 0.35 × as long as hind basitarsus; first tergite with sinuate median carina, largely coarsely rugulose laterally (Fig. 5E); second tergite with complete median carina; second–third tergites striaterugulose; fourth–sixth tergites rugose-punctate medially and striate rugulose laterally (Fig. 5E).</p><p>Colour. Head yellow, scapus brownish yellow; flagellum yellow; palpi and mandible yellow; pronotum yellow; mesonotum yellow, but yellowish brown laterally (Fig. 5A); mesopleuron largely brown, area medially yellow (Fig. 5D); metapleuron yellow; propodeum entirely dark brown (Fig. 5F); fore and middle legs yellow; hind leg yellow, but apical half of coxa and femur light brown; fore wing veins yellow, pterostigma brownish yellow; wing membrane hyaline (Fig. 5H); metasoma largely brown medially, yellow laterally; ovipositor sheath brown; ovipositor yellow (Fig. 5G).</p><p>Male. Unknown.</p><p>Etymology. From “simulo” (Latin for “imitate, copy”), because the new species is relatively close to R. maculata, discriminating characters of this new species are given in the key.</p><p>Host.
