MALE (Fig. 1 A, 3 A): Head: eyes dark brown and hairy; antennae reaching 2 / 3 of the costal FW margin, with dorsal surface covered with dark brown scales with a silky shine, ventral surface light brown and naked, patches of white scales on the outer side; club wide and rounded; labial palpi blackish brown on the upperside, with a stripe of long, yellowish hair at the top, on the underside pale yellow with a thin layer of long dark hair. Thorax: dorsal surface black, covered with long hair-like metallic green and blue scales; femur pale yellow to white, densely covered with yellow hair, tibia and tarsus darker than femur, covered with yellow scales, tibial spurs present. Abdomen: dorsal surface black, dorsal surface creamy-white, covered with short, straight hair. Wings: FW length: 24 mm; FWD: ground colour black; wide (3.5 mm), straight metallic green postmedian band; small but conspicuous, light blue subapical mark; discal area ' dusted' with metallic green scales; fringe black around the veins and white between them; HWD: ground colour black; ashen blue submarginal band, of medium width, composed of unfused markings, never reaching the outer wing margin; a complex of metallic green scales, forming irregular patches and rays in discal and median area; fringe black, with some faint white marks between the lines; FWV: ground colour black, slightly brighter in anal area; apical area pale yellow; basal patch pale yellow, irregular, with diffused margin, covering approximately 1 / 3 of the wing surface; metallic green and white markings in submedian and median area of costal wing margin; HWV: ground colour pale yellow; postmedian line black, almost straight, only slightly zigzagging; submarginal line black, slightly arched, irregularly zigzaging; fringe black. MALE GENITALIA (Figs. 4 A – E): uncus arched, beak-shaped, with narrowed tip and a tuft of long hair on the dorsal surface; gnathos large and well developed, consisting of two L-shaped branches, connected with an arched lateral branch; tegumen with an elongated proximally dome, small, elongated, sharp-tipped appendix angularis; prominent pedunculus extended ventro-proximally in a shape of a triangle and ventro-distally, in a shape of a small lobe; vinculum relatively short and arched ventrally; saccus long and thin, with rounded and slightly arched tip; valvae elongated, tongue-shaped; basal part of the costa splits laterally and forms two sets of proximal appendices: the inner appendix consisting of ventrally located lobe-like process and a finger-like process pointed dorsally; the outer appendix is formed with a C-shaped process extending into a lobe and ended with an proximal L-shaped process; aedeagus thin and straight, slightly longer than valva; hypandrium wide, with distal end in a form of a wide, U-shaped fork, collar short and only slightly narrower than body, and short, triangular lobes at the proximal end. FEMALE (Fig. 2 A, 3 A): Slightly larger than most examined male specimens, with rounded wings and no significant difference in wing pattern. FEMALE GENITALIA (Fig. 4 F): papillae anales oval, with thin apophyses, slightly longer then the width of papillae; ostium bursae small and dorso-ventrally flattened; lamella antevaginalis expanded into a large pleated lobe, surrounding the ductus bursae from underneath and on the sides; ductus bursae longer than corpus bursae, equally wide within the whole length, first section (1 / 3 of the length) softly sclerotized, opens gradually into the corpus bursae; corpus bursae round and wide; signa small and oval, located at the opening of ductus bursae.	en	Zubek, Anna, Lorenc-Brudecka, Jadwiga, Pyrcz, Tomasz W.
