Pl. 7261.1, one set of sagittal sections on 21 slides, Central High Plateau, Western Slope, Small unnamed water course, tributary of upper Mania River, Tsiribihina hydrographic basin, Ilaka Centre (20 ° 20 ′ 0 ″ S, 47 ° 9 ′ 0 ″ E), Ambositra District, Madagascar, September 2011, coll. R. Manconi. Paratype: CGAS Pla 8.1, ibid., one set of sagittal sections on four slides of an anterior portion of a specimen originating after fission in the field. Etymology The specific epithet is derived from the Latin adjective granosus, full of grains and alludes to the pigmented dorsal and ventral body surfaces. Diagnosis Dugesia granosa is characterized by the presence of the following features: asymmetrical openings of the oviducts, with the left oviduct opening into the common atrium; presence of well-developed ectal reinforcement, extending from the vaginal area almost to the copulatory bursa; conical penis papilla; central course of the ejaculatory duct with terminal opening; elongate seminal vesicle; openings of the vasa deferentia in the anterior section of the seminal vesicle; large diaphragm positioned halfway along the length of the penis papilla.	en	Stocchino, Giacinta Angela, Sluys, Ronald, Riutort, Marta, Solà, Eduard, Manconi, Renata (2017): Freshwater planarian diversity (Platyhelminthes: Tricladida: Dugesiidae) in Madagascar: new species, cryptic species, with a redefinition of character states. Pl. 7262.1, one set of sagittal sections on 13 slides, Central High Plateau, Eastern Slope, unnamed small water course (1 – 2 m wide), tributary of the Mandraka River in the upper Mangoro River hydrographic basin, Route 2 in the ‘ Peyrieras Reserve’ (18 ° 55 ′ 55.040 ″ S, 47 ° 57 ′ 0.993 ″ E) at Marozevo Village, Manjakandriana District, Madagascar, 15 September 2011, coll. R. Manconi. Paratypes: CGAS Pla 9.1, ibid., sagittal sections on 16 slides; ZMA V. Pl. 7262.2, ibid., sagittal sections on 8 slides Etymology The specific epithet is based on the Greek letter S, Sigma, and alludes to the S-shaped ejaculatory duct. Diagnosis Dugesia sigmoides is characterized by the presence of the following features: asymmetrical openings of the oviducts into the bursal canal; ectal reinforcement extending along the entire length of the bursal canal; hyperplasic ovaries; central S-shaped course of the ejaculatory duct; subterminal opening of the ejaculatory duct; elongated seminal vesicle; openings of the vasa deferentia at a position about halfway along the seminal vesicle; large diaphragm.	en	Stocchino, Giacinta Angela, Sluys, Ronald, Riutort, Marta, Solà, Eduard, Manconi, Renata (2017): Freshwater planarian diversity (Platyhelminthes: Tricladida: Dugesiidae) in Madagascar: new species, cryptic species, with a redefinition of character states. Pl. 7263.1, one set of sagittal sections on eight slides, Central High Plateau, Western Slope, small tributary of Mania River, in the upper Tsiribihina hydrographic basin, near Andalamaitsy Village, between Ambositra and Antsirabe, c. 5 km north of Ambositra (20 ° 29´S, 47 ° 15´E), Ambositra District, Madagascar, 25 September 2011, coll. Pl. 7263.3, ibid., horizontal sections on three slides; CGAS Pla 10.1, ibid., sagittal sections on five slides; CGAS Pla 10.2, ibid., sagittal sections on six slides. Etymology The specific epithet is derived from the Latin adjective gibberosus, humpbacked, protuberant, and alludes to the dorsal bumps on the penis papilla of this species. Diagnosis Dugesia gibberosa is characterized by: asymmetrical openings of the oviducts into the bursal canal; ectal reinforcement extending from the vaginal region to more than halfway along the bursal canal; hyperplasic ovaries and under-developed testes; a peculiar blunt penis papilla provided with two dorsal bumps; ventral course of the ejaculatory duct with terminal opening; openings of the vasa deferentia halfway along the narrow seminal vesicle; small diaphragm.	en	Stocchino, Giacinta Angela, Sluys, Ronald, Riutort, Marta, Solà, Eduard, Manconi, Renata (2017): Freshwater planarian diversity (Platyhelminthes: Tricladida: Dugesiidae) in Madagascar: new species, cryptic species, with a redefinition of character states.
