Synonym of Hermalentia matsunoi (Fernández-Loayza)

Etymology. The species name matsunoi has been assigned to honor Dr. Alejandro Yoshio Matsuno Matsuno (May 14, 1931, to January 2, 1982), a physician and epidemiologist within the Ministry of Health’s Malaria Eradication and Chagas Disease Control Program (PEMCC), because of his selfless work and the teachings given to this author (Fernández-Loayza 1989: 24).

Original citation. “Se há asignado el nombre específico matsunoi en honor al Dr. Alejandro Yoshio Matsuno Matsuno (14.V.31 -2I.82) médico epidemiólogo del Programa de Erradicación de la Malaria Y Control de Chagas (PEMCC) del Ministério de Salud por su abnegada labor y lãs enseñanzas brindadas al autor” (Fernández-Loayza 1989: 24).
