Species. T. spinolai Porter

Synonym of Mepraia spinolai Mazza, Gajardo and Jörg

Etymology. The nature of the connective tissue firstly induced me to name it Tr. marginata; but then I thought that I should name a Chilean species in honor of Spinola, who worked on most of the Hemiptera in the production from the illustrious Gay (Porter 1934: 193).

Original citation. “El carácter del conexivo me indujo primeramente a llamarla Tr. marginata; pero he pensado despúes que debía luego denominar uma especie chilena em honor de Spinola que trabajó la mayor parte de los Hemipteros em la obra del ilustre Gay” (Porter 1934: 193).
