Species. T. lenti Sherlock and Serafim

Etymology. The name Triatoma lenti is given in homage to the famous parasitologist Dr. Herman Lent, of the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (Sherlock & Serafim 1967: 80).

Original citation. “ O nome Triatoma lenti é dado em homenagem ao ilustre parasitologista Dr. Herman Lent, do Instituto Oswaldo Cruz” (Sherlock & Serafim 1967: 80).
