Agrilus pilosus Waterhouse

CHIS, 13 mi E Comitán, 3-VIII-52, EMEC. Since there are relatively few biological notes on Mexican Buprestidae, and none for this species, noteworthy is the collection of four males on white flowers of Lantana sp. in Oaxaca, 27 km NNE, Sta. María Ecatepec, 16°23.071’, 95°47.688’, 860 m, 17-VII-2003, RLWE. Members of this genus are rarely collected from flowers.
