Misidentification: Eupithecia omnigera Vojnits, 1988 (nec Vojnits, 1982) (at least 1♂ and 2♀ in ZISP).
A little-known Central Asian species belonging to the “ innotata ” group, recorded for Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, south-eastern Kazakhstan and the western Chinese province of Xinjiang. Not previously recorded from Mongolia.
Material examined. 1♂, SW Mongolia, Hovd aimak, Bodonchijn-Gol basin, Hundijn-Gol riv. Valley, 1600 m, 46˚06’N; 92˚30’E, 3–4.vii.2010, leg. V.V. Anikin (ZISP).
