Hitherto known only from China (Shanxi). The only known Mongolian male has a slightly narrower valve with a more obtuse apex and a different shape to all three dentate cornuti on the aedeagus vesica from the holotype of E. impolita Vojnits. However, the shape of the dentate cornuti in the male genitalia are variable in many species of the “ satyrata ” group.
