This species occurs from the Lower Volga and South Urals in the west to the Pacific Islands of Sakhalin (Russia) and Hokkaido (Japan) in the east. E. suboxydata was recorded for Mongolia in Vojnits (1977) as a representative of the genus Catarina. The male and female genitalia were described and illustrated by de Laever (1956). Mongolia (aimags): Bulgan, Govi-Altai, Umnugovi.
