Misidentification: Eupithecia ericeata: sensu Vojnits, 1977 (nec Rambur, 1833).
A widespread Palaearctic species ranging from the Canary Islands to Japan and the Kamtchatka Peninsula. Not previously recorded from Mongolia. Vojnits (1977) misidentified and published specimens of this species from Mongolia as E. ericeata . Mongolia: Bulgan aimag.
