Eupithecia aporia Vojnits, 1975, Acta zoologica Academiae Scientiarum Hungaricae 21 (3–4): 452, fig. 4. Holotype ♂ (TTM, examined), Mongolia: Chovd aimak, 10 km SSW of Somon Bulgan 1200 m (synonymised in Mironov & Galsworthy, 2013).
A little known and rare species, hitherto recorded only from Kuldja in the Chinese autonomous region of Xinjiang. The female genitalia of the syntype were described and illustrated by de Laever (1956). The Mongolian E. aporia Vojnits, described on the basis of a very worn male, is a junior synonym of E. kuldschaensis Staudinger. Mongolia (aimags): Govi-Altai, Khovd.
