Colobostomoides marshalli socotraensis Švihla, 2012

New records. Oman: Darbat pool m 250 17°05’N – 24°26’E 14.III.2004 Dhofar Region leg. Dellacasa M. luce hg, 1 ♂ (MSNP) .

Distribution and published records. This subspecies was described by Švihla (2012) from Socotra and was previously known only from this Island. The specimen from Oman does not show any significative difference with the specimens from Socotra. The nominotypical species is distributed in southern Africa.

Notes: Individuals of this species are attracted to light.
