Adansonia digitata L.

Large, deciduous tree, in wooded savannah and open forest.

C.N.: mbondo, mûcua (fruit) (kb); imbondeiro (pt).

Uses: fibre, food, medicinal, rituals.

Conservation: VU (Costa et al. 2009, 2019, MINAMB 2018a); however there are large populations of this species in PNQ.
