Ashmeadiella (Ashmeadiella) bucconis (Say, 1837)

Counties: Beltrami, Carver, Clay, Clearwater.

Comments: This species has not been seen in MN since 1949 and may no longer occur in the state. However, there are recent records from neighboring Manitoba, Canada (Gibbs et al. 2023). Minnesota specimens fall under subspecies A. bucconis bucconis; taxonomic work is needed to determine whether subspecies A. bucconis denticulata is distinct or not.
