Comments: The recent discovery of males of A. angelicus in southwestern Minnesota (Portman et al. 2022a and additional specimens listed above) means that some southwestern Minnesota records of A. texanus may actually be A. angelicus since females of these two species cannot be reliably separated by morphology. Further, our recent work to separate females of A. angelicus and A. texanus has led to the discovery that A. texanus is a cryptic species complex, with two morphologically distinct taxa present in Minnesota (in addition to A. angelicus) (ZP and MA, unpublished).
