Bombus (Psithyrus) flavidus Eversmann, 1852
Counties: Aitkin, Becker, Beltrami, Carlton, Cass, Cook, Hubbard, Lake, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Pine, Roseau, Saint Louis.
Comments: This species was formerly known as B. fernaldae (Franklin) but that species is now considered a junior synonym of B. flavidus (Williams et al. 2014) . More recently, B. flavidus was split into two subspecies, B. f. flavidus and B. f. appalachiensis (Lhomme et al. 2021). Although there are currently no morphological characters that can split the two subspecies, the Minnesota specimens may correspond to B. f. flavidus based on geographic separation from known B. f. appalachiensis records.
