Type material. Holotype female and female paratype from Hong Kong, China, holotype deposited in the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) and paratype (U. S. N. M. Cat. No. 1232) in the United States National Museum (USNM), not examined.

Diagnosis. According to photos and drawings in Zhou et al. (2017), the female is similar to those of B. mammiformis sp. nov. and B. quadratus sp. nov. in having a long epigynal tooth with two widely separated distal branches; the spermathecal heads of this species are also much larger and situated closer to each other than those of B. mammiformis (compare Zhou et al. 2017: figs 3B, 4D with Fig. 5D), and the atrium of this species is much smaller than that of B. quadratus (compare Zhou et al. 2017: figs 3A, 4C with Fig. 6C).

Distribution. Known only from the type locality in China (Hong Kong) (Fig. 7).
